  • MCP arranged $160 million of equity for a West Coast based apartment investor. The client was an accomplished real estate professional, but had no prior experience as a principal. MCP arranged for an institutional fund to invest in an $80 million portfolio the client had contracted to purchase. The fund eventually invested $160 million in client sponsored projects.
  • A Midwest industrial developer engaged MCP to secure institutional funds to invest in its existing portfolio and future development projects. • A West Coast multi-asset class developer and owner engaged MCP to locate a joint venture partner for a $30 million condominium conversion project. A relationship was arranged with a commingled fund. In addition to consummating the conversion transaction, the partners acquired additional major city CBD office towers valued at over $150 million.

  • A large western United States multi-family developer and investor engaged MCP to help form an equity relationship that allowed the company to expand its business and reduce dependence on private individual equity capital. MCP arranged a relationship with a commingled fund that provided financing platforms structured as both direct equity investments and 100% forward commitments. The partners completed several transactions including the initial $18 million ground-up development apartment project and a $100 million land purchase, re-entitlement and apartment development project.
  • A European based developer and owner engaged MCP to locate an investor for acquisition and major renovation of a Class B office building in Germany. MCP arranged a $10 million equity investment from a U.S. based opportunity fund.
